NCBG Seeds Orange Coneflower
Orange coneflower is durable and long-flowering. This southeastern native perennial is easily grown. Each plant forms a large, showy clump within two to three years. Its flowers have daisy-like flowers with yellow rays and brownish-purple central disks, similar to the black-eyed Susan. This perennial provides lots of nectar for butterflies as well as seeds for birds. It is tolerant of heat and humidity. The genus Rudbeckia supports up to 16 lepidoptera species.
