Sunshine Embedded Necklace

Handmade, one-of-a-kind, lightweight pressed flower necklace encased in resin and set in a metal frame from the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina.

 

 

Flowers and plants are both cultivated and captured in the wild, pressed, dried, painted for preservation, thoughtfully arranged in plated settings and preserved in resin.

John and Diane Baker of Sunshine Design capture the beauty of the garden in small, hand-made pieces of jewelry and art that serve to frame nature’s face. The studio, located in Ashe County NC, has been a sanctuary of natural beauty for over thirty years, being sustained in part by the careful preservation and creative presentation of each season’s flowers.
